Humber Park at 24559 Fern Valley Road, Idyllwild-Pine Cove, California.

Visited in summer to hike Devil's Slide. Somewhat confusing bureaucratic nonsense with the parking (you drive back to town get a parking permit from an agency at one location to go drive and park at another. Should just charge you with a gate or something. Stupid.) However the trail is great. I only went to the junction, enough for me, so it was out and back. I also hiked Ernie Maxwell trail from its other end to Humber and back - this is a easier - much less climbing. Few people on trails, beautiful weather - although it can get a bit windy and cold on Devil's Slide. Bring a light jacket and something to eat along the way.
